Eclipse Effect

On 1st day of year 2020, at 7.31 am, the sun over Japan darkened as if due to an eclipse, but without any apparent astronomical reason. The phenomenon, which then spread across the entire globe as the Earth rotated, lasted exactly 24 hours. In the following weeks, months and years, children endowed with supernatural or super-human abilities were born around the world, but mainly in the countries that had fought for the Axis during the Second World War. Sometimes even teenagers or young adults suddenly begin to develop similar skills (although their number is limited) Some abilities are very obvious, such as breathing fire or manipulating gravity, others are more subtle and elegant, such as perfect aim or eidetic memory.  As with all my other projects, Eclipse Effect began with an idea for an RPG game that later evolved into a coherent world in its own right. As always, the usual caveats: 1) The images are generated by AI. In this case, almost always Bing Image Generator. Unfortunately, I can't draw and have to make do with machines. However, for what it's worth, the subjects and descriptions are entirely my own invention. 2) The written material is entirely my own creation, without AI being consulted in any way. 3) Like all the other settings, this one was designed to be played.
