Paradox

 

 Real Name -- Aevh’an Vaelor (Evan Vale)

Biography -- Alqaris expands into space in a constant search for resources to sustain its imperial conquest and its eternal war with Kelkar.

Irix was an industrial world, untouched by Earth's terrible climate disruptions, yet still rich in rare metals, water, and other precious resources. Alqaris invaded and conquered it.

During the battle, Irix's ruler, Sy'lar, decided to secure the royal lineage by saving his two sons: Major Aevh'an, the son of a concubine, and No'har, the successor of House Vaelor.

As the two princes' ship left Irix, it was struck by an Alqarisian warship. To prevent the ship from crashing into Irix's sun, Aevh'an awakened to his cosmic powers, and the ship vanished, appearing on Earth, in Italy.

The two boys were taken into custody by the American military. Aevh'an, however, escaped, going into hiding and becoming the masked hero Paradox.

No'har, meanwhile, was included in the Liberty Division project, but after lengthy negotiations was assigned to the project's Italian division, which was closely linked to the Borgia Foundation.

Powers and Abilities -- Aevh'an has limited control over time and space, which may be the real reason Alqaris invaded Irix. They likely intended to use him as a key to reaching Earth.

In addition to these powers, Paradox, as commander of Irix's guard, displays some skill in hand-to-hand combat and firearms/laser weapons.

Lovers and Friends -- Coming from a society without strict gender roles, Aevh'an finds it difficult to navigate a planet where these issues always seem very important.

Although he's a lone hero who often works alone, he has strong ties to the Italian Guard and the American Counterforce.

He is a close friend of Little Coyote. He has a crush on Ace of the Guard and Hot Fire of the Counterforce, which would make him bisexual in the eyes of Earthlings.

His greatest love, for whom he would do almost anything, is his brother No'har.
